If a not suitably equipped diesel engine is refuelled with a diesel/biodiesel mixture, there is a possibility that the engine will be damaged. The DMP 01 diesel mixture tester was developed to determine this mixture ratio.
Tester for measuring the mixture ratio of biodiesel and diesel fuel based on the principle of density measurement. The instrument permits rapid, reliable testing by sampling fuel direct from the tank.
The test result is displayed on a coloured scale (see pic.).
The use of the fuel identification device enables definition of the fuel type in events of possible damage to the fuel system.
By removing 500 ml of fuel from the fuel tank, a clear statement can be made about the fuel type used. Measurement results are based on an ambient temperature of 20 °C. Supply in a robust plastic case.
Note: The DMP 02 identification device does not give judicially useable measurement results.
